Is this merino crew good for layering?

Absolutely. The Nett can be worn as either a base layer, or as a mid-layer over a lightweight 180gsm merino top or singlet.

How does merino compare with synthetic base layers (like polypro)?

Both keep you warm, wick moisture, and stay insulating when wet. Merino is supersoft, naturally regulates temperature, and resists odour, so you can wear it for days without washing. Polypropylene dries a little faster and costs less but needs washing after each use and doesn’t adapt to temperature as well. Merino is the top choice for comfort, varied weather, and multi-day wear.

Will it keep me warm at the snow?

Yes. The 240gsm merino provides extra insulation while still being breathable, so your legs stay warm without overheating. Perfect as a base layer under thicker pants in really cold conditions.

How do I care for it?

Machine wash on a cold gentle cycle. Merino is naturally odour-resistant, so can usually be worn a few times between washes.
