The Shoe Cube has two jobs: to protect your shoes, and to protect everything else. If you're traveling with your nice leather work boots (or your flashy high heels), the shoes cube gives them their own safe, polyester-lined bubble in your luggage. If you've just spent a week hiking through mud, the shoe cube will make sure your boots don't damage the rest of your gear.
