How warm is the Altai II Super-Puff Down Jacket?

The Altai II is our warmest down jacket, insulated with 190gsm of 95/5 ethically sourced duck down with a 650+ loft rating. Combined with its seam-free channel construction, it delivers excellent heat retention and reduced wind penetration. It’s designed for alpine conditions, winter travel and cold climates.

What is stretch fabric and why does it matter?

Our patented stretch down fabric is a 20D nylon-spandex outer that allows the jacket to move and flex with you. This improves fit and comfort compared to traditional puffer jacket. It also supports the seam-free channel construction, which reduces cold spots and improves wind resistance.

Is this jacket waterproof?

No, it's not waterproof. The outer fabric has been treated with a DWR to help snow and light rain bead off the fabric, but we recommend wearing a waterproof shell over this jacket in wet conditions.
