Why do I need it?

The Blade is light, compact, tough and easy. With one pole, exterior pole clips, a single skin, and a total weight of 1.5kg, the Blade is easy to set up, take down and carry around. You'll barely notice you've got it with you until it's heroically protecting you from the night.

This is a tiny tent, enough room to fit one person and a small bag but not enough room to fit a large pack and certainly not enough room for two people. It's designed for lightweight hiking and biking.

Being a single skin waterproof tent, it needs to be well ventilated to avoid condensation. The fabric itself doesn't breathe - so it needs all vents open and the door open - at least at the top - to allow air to flow through it. If you sleep in this tent with the door fully closed, you will get some condensation.
